In this touching interview for the "Inspiring Women" project, Nas BenMalek reflects on her journey and the pivotal role WorkEqual played in helping her rebuild confidence as she re-entered the workforce.
Having lived in multiple countries, Nas's path has been anything but conventional. After years of living and working across Europe, Nas now considers herself more European than French or Irish.
She emphasizes that success, for her, is about fulfillment and being content with where she is in life.
Nas's experience with WorkEqual has been transformative, providing her with the career advice and styling support that allowed her to move forward confidently.
She highlights the importance of flexible work arrangements to help more women balance their professional and personal lives.
Despite initial apprehension, Nas found her photoshoot experience to be incredibly inviting and rewarding.
The "Inspiring Women Over 40" project is a tribute to women who defied convention, embraced their passions and redefined success on their own terms. Through an incredible photoshoot and a short interview I am telling the stories of 40 women over the age of 40, to celebrate their success and inspire others to live life on their own terms.
This project supports WorkEqual who promote progress by providing free support for anyone needing to enter or re-enter the workplace through one to one support. This can include interview preparation, CV writing and interview styling from their boutique in Smithfield all working towards building their confidence.
