Several years ago, I went on a life-changing 16-day trip to Iceland, a place I’d dreamed of visiting for ages. Like so many others, life—work, kids, money—kept me from going. I wasn’t unhappy; I had a great life with a wonderful husband, three amazing boys, and a job I loved. But on that trip, I realized what was missing...ME. I’d lost myself.

Now, I’ve found her again, and I’m off! Fear and all, I’m chasing adventures and embracing fearlessness (or maybe just doing it scared).

After a few wild trips, friends and family started asking, “Are you okay? How’s your marriage? Is this a midlife crisis?”

My answer: It’s a Midlife Celebration!
