Salome Aucamp, Head on a platter
“Cold, hard cash!”
- Salome Aucamp, Head On A Platter
Salomé Aucamp, the creative mind behind Head on a Platter, shared her inspiring journey as part of the Inspiring Women Over 40 series. After moving to Ireland, she reconnected with nature and her childhood on a farm, which eventually led her to discover her passion for ceramics. Despite initial fears of judgment, Salomé embraced her unique artistic voice and now creates handmade ceramics that bring her true joy and fulfillment. Her definition of success has evolved to mean pursuing what makes her heart happy.
In this interview, Salomé speaks about how her path to success was anything but conventional, and her advice to others is to take a leap of faith and believe in themselves. Her story serves as a reminder that it’s never too late to find your true passion and redefine success on your own terms.
The "Inspiring Women Over 40" project is a tribute to women who defied convention, embraced their passions and redefined success on their own terms. Through an incredible photoshoot and a short interview I am telling the stories of 40 women over the age of 40, to celebrate their success and inspire others to live life on their own terms.
This project supports WorkEqual who promote progress by providing free support for anyone needing to enter or re-enter the workplace through one to one support.
